Dia de Los Muertos...

Dia de Los Muertos... The Day of the Dead, or in other cultures, All Souls' Day. This is a time to reflect upon our dearly departed family members and friends. Think of the times shared, the stories that keep them alive in our hearts. After my stroll through my memories tonight, I started to think about my own legacy. What do I want people to remember about me?

I don't imagine myself making a huge impact, but there are some lessons I hope I can pass along: #1 - be your true self and don't give a crap about what other people think about you. #2 - be kind and do no harm to others. We are here to help each other, support each other, so always be kind. #3 - never allow fear to stop you from pursuing your dreams. If other people just don't get it, that's okay. It's your dream, not theirs. #4 - never stop learning. You will never run out of new stuff. #5 - love. Love with your whole heart. Love. Is. All. If I could start with these few, I think my life will be well lived. Peace, Beth
